Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé!


The tradition of celebrating the start of sales of the first new wine of the year came in the 19th century in the region of Beaujolais winemakers: the grape harvest started earlier than in other places, their wine matured before everyone else. Until 1951, the holiday remains regional and not have a fixed date. However, in that year, the Professional Committee of winemakers of Beaujolais defined start date of the holiday on Nov. 13. Later in 1985, it was moved to the third Thursday of November and organized in cooperation with one of the largest producers in the region of Beaujolais – Georges Duboeuf – a public delivery of the first new wine bottles in Paris.


We invite you to celebrate this merry and noisy celebration of young wine in the company of an elegant, fashionable, bright and fruity Beaujolais Nouveau from Georges Duboeuf house. Bright, rich fragrance, woven from notes of blackberry, blueberry, black currant, cherry and raspberry, rich fruity, rounded flavor of the wine with notes of black and red fruit, silky texture and intriguing aftertaste you will enjoy. Perhaps, Beaujolais Nouveau is not the most serious wine, but it does not require a serious approach to itself, it can accompany almost any culinary delights, be it pasta, medallions of chicken breast, pizza. Like most red wines, it goes well with meat dishes, cheeses. Recommended serving temperature 12-14ºC.
